On February 3, 2022, I embarked on the Pinnacle Peak Trail, an enchanting journey through the heart of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. The trail, a moderate 4.1-mile out-and-back path, offers a serene yet invigorating experience. As I ascended the gentle slopes, the pristine desert landscape unfolded before me, with towering saguaros and rugged rock formations painting a picturesque scene. The elevation gain of 311 feet provided just the right amount of challenge, making each step a delightful blend of effort and reward.
